I have been running LMS for some years. Recently I looked into replacing it with an Echo/Amazon setup. I now have this working too but it is nowhere near as robust as LMS + Squeeze Ctrl and the Web interface. I am very interested in Media Server. I would very much like a concise installation procedure if one exists. Dropping in on a product that has 35 pages in the thread is a challenge (yes I have read them) since install procedures seem dynamic at best.
For example, do I need an account on Media Server? What server address do I put into the Echo skill field. If there is a url or a post giving the current way to get this up and running, please point me to it. Thanks in advance and Happy Christmas to all.
