Ok, that's interesting. Not sure if it applies here, if that's only
peer-to-peer configuration - as I'm using a Synology DS918+ to run the
Logitech Media Server.
What we have 'going on' is a client that uses a socket to connect to a
host. Pretty simple, and I would not expect the o/s to unilaterally kill
a socket. And if windows did this because it "hasn't seen any activity"
then ok, but in this case, you couldn't argue that there was no
activity.
