Thanks. I'll read the T&C's over at ngrok to see if it's allowed or not.
They do have a corporate program which allows redistribution and even
auto-generating tokens via an API but that's a paid-up option which is
much too expensive for me to consider for the LMS skills. There is a
project called https://pypi.org/project/pyngrok/ which wraps ngrok for
use in a python environment but it downloads the binary each time rather
than including it in their package.

Maybe a small shell script that just asks the user for a token and
downloads the binary and builds the tcz and creates the yml behind the
scenes would be a nice option to reduce install-friction.

I have to admit I'm surprised that backing up a 24MB file is slow on any
modern system. This is the GB and TB era so we're talking crumbs here
:confused:
