3 probable culprits for this problem.. I'd suspect the 3rd possibly: 1. The my.tt file is still bound to the local machine, or if it isn't, mysql hasnt restarted since the change was made. 2. Firewall issues.. Try temporarily disabling windows firewall and all other firewalls on the client and server machine. If this fixes things, it should be fairly straight forward to add specific rules, etc. 3. A few people have noticed a bit of strangeness with the mysql connector. On some machines it likes the IP address specified as numerics, on others it likes it specified as a name. Try fiddling with the IP address in the preferences. If it's x.x.x.x, change it to the servername, or vice-versa. Hope that helps.. Let me know how you get on.. -- - Dr Lovegrove http://www.rusticrhino.com/drlovegrove http://groups.google.com/group/moosenews _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
