I am having the exact same behaviour as you, however I an running on a QNAP NAS and not a Synology. The Spotty Helper I am using is a legacy is the ARM6/7 Legacy (0.12.0) and there are no errors in the LMS log. I was unable to run the Helper manually as I see this: <limServer/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/SpottyARMLegacyBin/Bin] # ./spotty spotty v0.12.2 error: Required option 'name' missing Usage: ./spotty [options] Options: -c, --cache CACHE Path to a directory where files will be cached. --enable-audio-cache Enable caching of the audio data. --disable-audio-cache (Only here fore compatibility with librespot - audio cache is disabled by default). -n, --name NAME Device name -b, --bitrate BITRATE Bitrate (96, 160 or 320). Defaults to 320. --player-mac MAC MAC address of the Squeezebox to be controlled --lms LMS hostname and port of Logitech Media Server instance (eg. localhost:9000) --lms-auth LMSAUTH Authentication data to access Logitech Media Server --single-track ID Play a single track ID and exit. --start-position STARTPOSITION Position (in seconds) where playback should be started. Only valid with the --single-track option. --enable-volume-normalisation Play all tracks at the same volume -u, --username USERNAME Username to sign in with -p, --password PASSWORD Password -a, --authenticate Authenticate given username and password. Make sure you define a cache folder to store credentials. --disable-discovery Disable discovery mode -t, --get-token Get oauth token to be used with the web API etc. -i, --client-id CLIENT_ID A Spotify client_id to be used to get the oauth token. Required with the --get-token request. --scope SCOPE The scopes you want to have access to with the oauth token. -x, --check Run quick internal check -v, --verbose Enable verbose output I did see the following in a log file when poking around on my server: error: Unrecognized option: 'normalisation-method' Usage: /share/HDA_DATA/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer/SlimServer/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/SpottyARMLegacyBin/Bin/spotty [options] This was not see in the LMS log file. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: Spotty Helper.PNG | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=35116| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Locutus1967's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70182 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114726 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
