Shaun, I tried this for myself tonight ie hibernated PC and switched to Squeezenetwork before it had finished hibernating: the PC stayed off.
A few thoughts for you: a) Does the PC stay off if you wait until it has hibernated before switching to Squeezenetwork? b) Does the PC stay off if you leave the Squeezebox disconnected? c) Does the PC stay off if you hibernate it from Windows? d) Is there something else on your network that could be talking to the PC and waking it up?
