LMS is running on Synology DS920+ (Celeron) in VMM, Virtual Machine. My network setup is quite not "home use standard". Between the NAS there is a Cisco SG250 switch and WLC 2504 WLAN controller with different APs. Hoewever within WLAN there should be no issue as I can see other Spotify Connect devices there... But I'm not really aware of the technical Spotify Connect requirements for the network, new for me...
Spotty (LMS) and your Spotify apps need to be in the same network or local announcements don't work. As the name says: they're local to your network. I'm sure you have good reasons to have such a complicated setup... unless you don't really. Then I'd recommend you simplify it to have LMS in your LAN, like the mobile devices.
