There's a fairly large community of people here who use Pi's with Squeezelite and LMS. And apart from the Pi's and the voluntary contributions we make to the hardworking volunteers, there's also market of hardware manufacturers building speakers that work well with them. Additionally there are content providers, like Qobuz, that still allow you to buy music while still paying a fair share to the artists.
