Is ALBUM or ALBUMARTIST listed in the Custom Tag scanning module ? If
they are this might create some confusion, although I don't think the
artists should disappear, if I remember correctly the artists will
instead be shown twice.

In Custom Browse there is a menu template called "Custom Scan Info". If
you create a menu of this type you can browse the scanned Custom Scan
data to see what is really there. You could create a menu of this menu
type temporarily and then browse into "Custom Scan Info/mixedtag" and
see if there is an "ARTIST" entry and if something is in there. I
suspect you won't see it there.

Another thing you could try is to install the "Database Query" plugin
and click on the "SlimServer Statistics" query. This will show the
number of "artists", "album artists" an much more in your SlimServer
library. If "Number of artists" shows 0 in this query they problem is
that the information in the SlimServer database is correct, either
because of incorrect tags or because or some bug or setting in the
SlimServer scanning logic.

To get rid of it do as follows:
1. Goto: "Settings->Edit menus->Create new menu"
2. Find the "Custom Tags Albums (Delete)" entry
3. Click on the delete link inside the parenteses
4. Download latest menus again, this time it shouldn't show the
message.

> To get a "Changed Artists" menu, just create a new menu of the type "New
Artists" and deselect the "Use TrackStat statistics" checkbox and change
the "Menu name" parameter to "Changed Artists". This will create a menu
that works as before and only looks at the standard SlimServer
statistics and not TrackStat. The result is that it will be updated if
the modification time is changed on some of your music files and you
perform a rescan with SlimServer. I'm not sure if SlimServer updates
the time if you only scan for "new/changed music", so if it doesn't
work with "new/changed music" you might need to do a complete rescan.

The same procedure can also be done with "New Albums" menu type to
create a "Changed Albums" menu.

Sure, just create a new menu of the type "Dynamic playlists", set the
menu group parameter to "Artists" to move it into the "Artists" main
menu in your structure, set the "Playlist group" parameter to "Artists"
to limit the contents to the dynamic playlists that is shown in the
"Artists" group under the "Dynamic Playlists" plugin.

The same thing can also be done with the "Statistics" menu type for the
TrackStat menu hierarchy. In this menu you set the "Statistics group"
parameter to "Artists" to limit the contents to the statistics shown in
the "Artists" group under the TrackStat plugin.
