Lots of UPnP devices, although they claim, don't do good gapless. They
have this notion of "current" and "next" track where they should be able
to gather the next in advance, but they don't or don't early enough (BTW
that's one of the reason of the recent issue is my attempt to grab the
data as early as possible and to keep it in a buffer so that the UPnP
player gets it as soon and as quickly as possible). But regarding the
flow mode, you can decide to use flac (or stay in pcm) and resample at
more than 16/44/1
