To answer my own question, I discovered that the log message

didn't actually indicate that the module was being loaded. After
moving the contents of
/usr/local/slimserver/Plugins/SqueezeScrobbler/lib/Plugins/SqueezeScrobbler/
to /usr/local/slimserver/Plugins/SqueezeScrobbler/ and installing
Math:Round myself, things seem to be working again.
