Another thing I noticed as being slightly different in this new version is that it doesn't interract as well with the AutoDisplay plugin (http://www.koldware.com/SlimStuff/).
I use AutoDisplay to blank the screen at night (to avoid lighting the room up at night). Previously, when AutoDisplay had kicked in with the squeezebox in Power Off mode, I could press up/down buttons which would cause the brightness to be restored. After reading tomorrows weather forecast, I'd then press power on and power off which would cause AutoDisplay to blank the screen again.
