The issues of FFWD/REW with AlienBBC highlights two points and I think
it is in regard to working version of Plugins and not testing plugins
with betas of SC.

1. For some users breaking FFW/REW in 7.1 was enough to go back to 7.0
- acceptable compatibility varies by user. So I see the MaxVersion as a
statement of full functionality of the plugin and not whether it will
crash SC or whether the plugin will provide a fraction of its expected
functionality. I think what MaxVersion really implies needs
clarification.

2. At some point when 7.1 is released there will be 3 version of
AlienBBC (for 7.0, 7.1 & 7.2) which will all have full functionality as
long as the right version of the plugin is installed in the right
version of SC. The user should be told when they have the wrong
version installed especially after an SC upgrade.

So what is the purpose of MaxVersion and MinVersion is it
(a) make sure SC is not crashed by a plugin
(b) reassure the user that the installed plugin can operate fully &
correctly with the version of SC.
(c) something else ?
