Can't you just restore the backup files from before the reinstall ? - That's what I tried, but only after a complete rescan of the library. That resulted in the double entry as shown above...
If you have already tried that, how does the <track> element url's look like in that file compared to where the files actually are stored on the disk ? Does it match or does the "share" part differ ? - The actual files are at /share/MD0_DATA/Qmultimedia which doesn't seem to resamble the <track> path nor the <historyentry>. To be honest I don't really understand all the links at a linux system, I see the qmultimedia directory at a dozen places... Should I remove the Squeezecenter and trackstat database and then instead of rescanning onlu restore the trackstat backup file?
