It's possible another application is using the audio capture channel and is not available to wavin2cmd.
Alternatively you have installed another device (e.g. webcam with microphone) which has changed the device numbering of the capture. First - check the available capture try the command (lower case letter "L" and not digit 1) wavin2cmd -l Also run task manager and see if there are any "interesting" applications running in the background.
