With a library of over 90,000 songs, I find Custom Browse (and Custom Scan) are critical to me: 1. Most importantly, I need to be able to sort an artist's albums into different categories using custom tags (ie, select artist, then special custom tag categories, the album within category) 2. With a large number of artists, I like to be able to have a split by A-Z first, then go to all the artists beginning with my letter of choice. 3. I like the ability to customize a bit (within my very limited ability to modify the menu code). For example, I like to see albums chronologically, from earliest to most recent. 4. I like to use the artist and album headers and to be able to customize them a bit too. Bottom line for me is that I'd be very reluctant to update SqueezeCenter to a version that is unsupported by Custom Browse and Custom Scan. -- aeo12 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ aeo12's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10883 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=58894 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
