Hi Pippin, I have since got rid of my duet controller and now solely use your app but the only reason I bought the touch was for the app so I have a couple of questions/feature requests?
I may have kept the controller if it wasn't for these new squeezebox touch rumours. I notice that preserve connection doesn't actually do as it should, the wifi on my touch certainly goes off so not preserving connection. Is there anyway to use the accelerometer like the controller does. IE: set the ipod to never go to sleep and always keep the screen on but then ipeng could control this, If ipeng hadn't been used for a set amount of time then maybe a screen saver would appear or simply just turn the screen right down to avoid screen burn/ preserve battery if not in a dock. Then monitor the accelerometer to see if was picked up and then automatically go back to the last page ipeng was on. The above is exactly how the controller worked and it was a dream just to be able to pick up and start working rather than having to use that stupid unlock finger swipe to get in! I was going to request this on your trac page but couldn't get onto it.
