Hi Peter,

I absolutely agree. These (and various other) shortcomings exist and
would ideally be addressed. This is just not going to be done by me for
purely egoistical reasons, I'm afraid. Weathertime currently does
exactly, what I want it to do -- nothing more and nothing less (well, I
would love if the precipitation data could be provided by Wunderground,
again, but that's another story...).

So the bottom line probably boils down to: Should you have the same use
case for the plugin as myself, I am happy to share it with you. If not,
maybe other alternatives suit you better -- quite a few people seem to
be very satisfied with SuperDateTime to name an alternative.
