However, turning off the screen is likely not possible. That's at least what the Apple guys at the iPhone Tech Talk told me yesterday. Sorry, I don't fully understand what you want to do? The Squeezebox does support mp3tunes but not soptify (which is, as I understand, due to a lack of an Spotify API), is your suggestion to stream from the ipod?
