Sorry I can't help with that problem, I want to add one of my own. I had IR blaster working well for many years, but changed to Windows 7. Re-loaded the plugin, and now under IR-learning I am asked for a device/file name and I put in "stereo" and it says that it cannot open file/device for writing. So learning module stops.
