I'm not sure - have you tried setting the shortcut paths as UNC's? I'm sure this used to work for me fine when I had 3 drives and a shortcuts folder... If the above doesn't work, I'd use the MIP GUI to refresh/rebuild the library so it definitely points to your new drives.
