You didn't say if you re-installed the same version of SqueezeIR after the firmware update or if you upgraded SqueezeIR aswell. That said, there's not been many fundamental changes.
According to my log, v0.6 was the first version of SqueezeIR to support 7.5 although a few people patched the previous version.
