When I progressed through each nightly from r32172 to r32190, I found that scanning would not function from r32177 onwards.
Following on from what has just been posted, I downgraded to r32177, successfully re-scanned the db then upgraded straight to r32190 (no intermediate builds). Scanning now works with r31290 - odd!
