On my system I don't get a message at startup from Custom Scan. I assume that's because it is not configured to rescan at startup (there is no way I'm waiting an hour every morning before I can play music).
For a manually initiated rescan something odd is now happening at times. When I click once on "scan all" it waits, and then sometimes says it is already running (message in red on the GUI - "Scanning already in progress, wait until its finished"). It still runs though.
