Thanks for all your support mate. I have decided to give up. I have too little skills in Linux and network settings. When I reverted to 2.0.4 it all went nuts, the server needed to be restarted all the time and the plugin didn't work either, but with a different error message "transport not connected".
I tried to set username and password too without success. Back to bloody WiMP :( Cheers though, and perhaps the next version will work on my system!!
