Hi I'm having a little trouble with moose.
I can't seem to get it working reliably. I quite often receive the "Awaiting server response" message at the bottom of the screen and under the players menu I get "No known players". I am running a laptop with xp, fully up to date on windows update, all the extra downloads as mentioned on the moose instructions page are installed. Moose and squeezebox server are on the same laptop, my muic files are on a network hdd (Mybook World edition - white lights). Last night after a fresh install of moose and other components listed on the moose homepage moose worked but this morning i have turned on the laptop and its stopped working again. I can use the squeezebox web interface to play music without problem, i have created the required exceptions in windows firewall and the scanning tab in moose prefs points to my squeezebox library db. Im now stumped, any help greatly appreciated.
