I will upgrade to 0.94 and see about the saved recipes. In the meantime I have tried comparing a MIP mix with a TEN mix.
For MIP I selected an album and asked it to do its job. MIP is set to use (I guess…) a "Mix style" of 100 and "Mix variety" of 1. I never had any idea how to create moods or filters. For TEN I went to the Blender, Easy GUI mode, entered the artist (I have only one album by this artist) and locked down the mix variety by reducing it to 0.2. All other parameters stock. I would first say I am not struck by the genius of either automaton, although both give better results than pure randomness of course. I think TEN produces a better mix. MIP really gives me pause in some of its choices. I do need to skip songs; TEN hasn't made really weird choices, clamped down to 0.2 it behaves conservatively. No need to keep the remote control at hand. So there you have it, the opinion of one individual after a couple hours test: TEN wins. Many thanks, Michael. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ epoch1970's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16711 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97668 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
