Many of us have been using his blog entry of 24/9/14 and his comment response of 29/9/14 to make sense of what has been going on at the BBC's end. But there's still a lot of confusion around, such as codecs (now AAC or MP3), streaming protocols (now HLS, HDS, SHOUTcast and planned DASH), and for Squeezeboxes what we can expect of iPlayer in its LMS plugin and applet incarnations. Hopefully Triode and bpa will steward us through the stormy seas. Meanwhile, God help us!
