Greetings... I'm new to Ipeng and Apple.

I have the most recent Squeeze Server (7.7.5) running on a Windows 7
desktop machine. It is operating a Squeezebox Touch. I have the Ipeng
8 app installed on a new Iphone 6. They are all connected to a wireless
home network. In order for Ipeng to find the Squeeze Server, I have to
power-off the phone, and then power it back on. Once I've done this,
Ipeng will automatically detect the server. But if I simply try to
start Ipeng without rebooting the phone, it cannot find the server. I
have to physically restart the phone. Moreover, once it has found the
server, to keep it from losing it once it goes to sleep, I have to have
"Preserve Connection" activated. Otherwise, I would have to physically
reboot the phone for it to find the server again. I have "Wake-On-Lan"
turned on on the phone. I have tried to physically add the server
address as well... but that makes no difference. The only way Ipeng
finds the server is to physically restart the phone.

Any suggestions on how I might get Ipeng to detect the server without
having to restart the iphone? I'm not the most technologically savy
person. I wonder if there is a problem interfacing the Iphone with a
Windows run SqueezeServer...

I really appreaciate any advice anyone might be able to give. My
reading online has proved futile thus far...
