Has anyone tried or looked at GPAC as a player for HLS streams? http://gpac.wp.mines-telecom.fr/
I haven't been able to try anything yet (will take a look when I get home after work) but the player it includes (Osmo4) says it can handle both HLS and MPEG-DASH streams, which means it could very well provide a future proofed solution for when the BBC decide to migrate to MPEG-DASH?
