I was using one of my own directories for the buffer files but thought I should stop that, and put '?' instead (as per the information bubble). That did not seem to work. So I left the field blank, and that worked. I'm also using 2^32 -1 (4294967295) as the size, being unhappy with the idea of an unlimited size if I left the radio on.
When I tried to see where the buffer files are I failed to find them. Is there a secret? :) And the log - can I stop that growing indefinitely? LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi, Xubuntu 14.04, FLACs 16->24 bit, 44.1->192kbps. LMS plugin UPnP/DLNA Bridge to MF M1 CLiC (to MF amp & ESLs) & Marantz CR603 UPnP renderers. Minimserver (server) & upplay (control point) to same & to upmpdcli/mpd PC renderers. Squeezelite to Meridian USB Explorer DAC to speakers/phones. Wireless Xubuntu 15.04 laptop with firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver.
