Yes, unfortunately last time I was in France I tried with my box (a SFR box in that case) and in fact it suffered from probably the same problem: they do not implement the synchronization part of AirPlay. So all the sync info sent are simply ignored. You can verify that by trying to sync using AirTunes LMS 7.7.5 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2.
