Hi, I'm also experiencing the 100% CPU load issue with ShairTunes2 (LMS 7.9.0 - 1472937447 on my MacOS 10.11.6), but it sounds like this is a known issue (with no resolution as yet?)
The other thing I wanted to report is that the pre-forked version of ShiarTunes2 would create an AirPlay target for the Local Player running on the server, whereas the forked version doesn't.
