Hi,

First of all, I think all your proposed changes are fine by me.
But, I'd prefer if you can hold off these changes a few more days?
yes, sure.
Thanks for waiting, I'm almost there :)
As a matter of fact, some of your recent changes I already had taken
care of myself too ;)
:)
Now, my changes will result in quite some SPI usage changes, and for
instance I could remove almost all the *Internal* interfaces (now only
needing the Portlet 2.0 request/response interfaces itself), and no more
"wrapping" or "blending" of the portlet and servlet interfaces.
Cool!
As such, I planned to commit my changes to a separate branch this week
so everyone can review the effect of all this, before I would merge it
back into trunk.
Hmm, I'm not against that - but I think you could easily directly commit
to trunk; noone objected the proposed changes.
OK, I think I'll do that then.
Please *do* understand however that this will mean a temporarily "broken" trunk
until the still TODO implementations are realized.
I'v covered a lot all ready, but there is also still quite a lot to do.
My broken arm really is hindering me in delivering everything I planned for
already, really sorry about this.
Anyway, I've got to a point now I think its good enough and especially *clear* enough SPI/interface wise for other people to be able to jump
in too if they want.
So, I'll start committing my changes shortly.
For that reason, anyone having pending changes for Pluto trunk, *please* hold off committing them for the next few hours until I'll report
back to this list.I'll then also will summarize which areas are critical and need to be implemented and/or fixed first.
Keep you posted,
Ate
