Something Really Sexy for Her for Holloween:

My sister and I were discussing this very subject, coincidentally. I think
life is both meaningless and meangful. From a "cosmic" standpoint, I see it
as just a random event with no particular significance - whether it's unique
to Earth or a commonplace in multiple galaxies.
All the elements are fused in stars. So, the ingredients for life must be
delivered (via comet and meteor strikes) to other planets in other solar
systems, as well. If conditions are such elsewhere that life as we know it
can be supported, perhaps it has germinated in other locations in the
universe. Life as we know it on Earth is photosynthetically driven.
To those who possess life, it is meaningful. Every living thing values - or
at least strives to safeguard - its life. I am an animal rights activist.
So, I fight to have the lives of animals respected.
