Hi,
that's not a call for me, I can only give my opinion. That's very
simple: There will always be things to fix and/or to enhance, one would
be able to postpone the release due to that ad infinity. It happened to
me several times that I committed things in hurry, just before the
release, then I've got reports of failure not elsewhere than in the
code change made as the last. That is, the feature freeze has its
meaning.
I know, I committed a change only few days ago, but I think it's a
different thing than the Outline bug. Simply because the Outline bug
can be worked around from the outside of PoDoFo, while the difference
encoding cannot.
Once again, this is only my opinion. The final word is on the
maintainers of the PoDoFo.
