Google is well known for blocking users from certain countries [1].
GitHub's services are limited to git and they do not offer mailing
lists. Being that I wish to run with freedom in mind, I choose hosting
sites that run on free software. Both of those sites do not run on free
software and both are absolutely controlled by the companies. Since this
is software available for the public, please, choose a site that is
friendly to the public.
