To be fair, we expected Chris to do more work on polipo as well.  Chris
does great work in other areas, it seems polipo has fallen down the
priority list. Good thing git is easily cloned and can be migrated to
a new location.  If someone else wants to take over polipo, it seems
you'll have some fans and help.

>From Tor's perspective, polipo is a stop-gap until Firefox stops
handling SOCKS in a blocking, fixed timeout manner.  We have a FAQ entry
as to why we cared about Polipo in the first place,
