Elder said "......lower salaries for Catholic teachers" may be the blame for poorer performance.......Excuse me, BULLSHIT......if more money meant higher performance then over the past 25 years with all the money thrown at the Public Schools schools we ought to be graduating millions of great minds but the exact opposite is true. Seems like the more money they get the poorer performance by the students. I stopped voting "yes" on school bond issues years ago after seeing the dismal results in Los Angeles schools and the ever increasing drop out rates at the time. Correct if I'm wrong but kids are no longer graded on their studies for a number of years after they start school at age 6......all part of the we don't want to bruise their ego's by having to be graded and possibly failing......hence the bright kids are also going down the tubes with this stupid, ridiculous concept. Put corporal punishment back into the system and expel the acting out losers so they don't contaminate the others and send those little animals home to their parents who must then finally take responsibility for their breeding of little untamed animals and believe me I've been there and seen these wild animals and the teachers can not teach with these characters in their class rooms and as a result everyone is going down the tubes.
