I will say that in the 60s and early 70s, when I went to Catholic school, we were more advanced than the Public Schools ... we moved after 8th grade and I went to Public school for High School and was more advanced in most subjects than my new peers ... I have been told that the trend has reversed and the Public schools are better than Catholic, these days, but I have now way of proving or disproving it!!!!
