I was mugged twice as well, once while getting out of the subway on 42nd
street at noon, two guys held me while another beat me with a metal cane
... I dragged myself to the street and the scattered like cockroaches ... I
was bloodied, but alive and they got nothing. The second time I took a cab
to my apartment and as I got to the door, three guys jumped out of the
bushes, one held a gun to my head while the other two went through my
pockets ... lost about $20.
