Actually, Qantas paid no tax (we don't have Boeing here) what we had discussed was Chevron, in the last year they made $1.8 billions in profit in Australia, and paid $148, that's right, $148 dollars in tax. You told me that in the USA (their home country) they had paid last year 40% tax on profits, and that's fair enough, however, as I said to you, I don't care what they paid in their home state, the $1.8 billion profit was made in Aus. and they should have paid tax on that amount in our country, and I DEFY anyone to justify their dishonesty in not doing so.
