Spend some time on this database learning the facts about police shootings. Of the 19/990 (<2%) unarmed blacks killed who were not in the process of attacking or threatening a cop or another person at the time, the vast majority of them were either resisting arrest and/or mentally ill (schizophrenia most often mentioned). Three were accidental. One was an innocent bystander who was shot while a black criminal in the act of stealing a vehicle pointed a gun at cops (who opened fire). The black criminal was subsequently charged with 2nd degree murder. Only ONE shows clear evidence of murder by cop and that is Walter Scott. The cop who murdered him was taken into custody and charged within hours - and rightly so. There were only FIFTEEN unarmed blacks killed who were in the process of attacking a cop when they were shot. That means only 3.4% of those killed by cops were unarmed blacks - including those who were in the process of attacking a cop at the time they were shot (trying to get the cops' gun or outright assault happened in many of these cases). Now, if you want to look at overall statistics, 258/990 (26%) of those killed by cops were black. Of those 258, 183 were deemed "attack in progress". That leaves 63 who weren't attacking cops at the time they were shot. Of those 63, 32 were brandishing weapons they refused to put down. So we're down to 31 who weren't either attacking a cop or refusing to surrender a weapon. Oh but wait, NINE of them were using their vehicles as a weapon - trying to run over cops attempting to arrest them. THAT LEAVES 22 who didn't fit in one of the categories below: attack in progress, brandishing a weapon or refusing to put it down, or trying to run over a cop with a vehicle. Three are unknown/disputed which gets us back to the fact above that *ONLY NINETEEN BLACKS WERE KILLED BY POLICE who weren't in the process of breaking the law or threatening cops or others. That's 1.9% of those shot and killed by cops. * *Oh, and if you are really interested in pertinent facts, consider that the FBI states that between 2003-2009 there were 98 MILLION ARRESTS during a six-year period, pegging the number of police shootings during that time at 0.005% of arrests.* But the leftloon narrative of the day is that it's "open season on blacks". Fucking morons. Is it that they're dishonest (liars) or just incredibly ignorant?
