And to expand on the IGNORANCE of claiming that 19 unwarranted deaths are the biggest problems facing blacks in America, consider that there were 490 homicides in Chicago during the same time period of WaPo's database on those killed by cops. More than 90% were gunshots and 75% of the victims were black.
Of course, just as with police shootings, many of these were in the process of committing a crime (most are gang-related shootings). But the fact remains that *442 blacks were murdered last year in Chicago alone. That's TWENTY-THREE TIMES the number of times cops shot blacks nationwide either accidentally or when necessity is questionable.But yeah, the *real* problem we should be focusing on according to blacks, the ignorant democrats and the media consumed with the topic are those nineteen nationwide that are killed by cops. Because that is somehow "racist".*I've said it for years and I'll say it again. Unless and until blacks stop murdering themselves and others at the rates they do, they will continue being killed in higher numbers as a percentage of Americans they make up (though only very slightly higher number). And that includes those killed by cops, because they continue to come into contact with LEOs more often than others and are KNOWN to be far more violent than other races. It's not rocket science. If the democrats who proclaim to want to fix this problem really gave a damn about black lives, they'd start telling the truth. And instead of indoctrinating schoolchildren about how normal homosexuality and transgenderism is or that global warming is the biggest threat we face in America, maybe they could spend that time teaching ALL children in public schools that in order to escape poverty, all one has to do is do well in school, work, obey laws, and not have kids until they're married and can afford them.
