Hey Perp! I don't keep up all that much with local Indiana Politics....(Which is a shame, and I admit that I should be more attuned....) I also don't have a lot of use for ANY Democrat; period!
"IF" I were to make a few exceptions, (and I mean this as someone who I think could be targeted for rational, logical thinking and possibly a swing vote; in an attempt to put pressure on a politician in order to try and persuade him to get into lockstep with a conservative issue; Bayh, along with Jim Webb of Virginia were the two Democrats back four or six years ago who I would have considered approaching. I'm saddened to hear that you consider him to be an ass....I trust your judgment and take your word for it; but it's a bit of a surprise....In one sense.....In another, this article doesn't surprise me a whole lot either. It appears that Bayh is another typical elitist UniParty member, and has very little connection to his former constituency. A shame.....I felt the same way about (I assume) his Daddy; another Democrat who I had a bit of respect for.
