Didn't watch the debate myself. Pence did sign legislation in Indiana changing it to a right to work state. And he's apparently improved Indiana economy thru his policies. but it is said that he was picked as a compromise to the Ryan faction for their support such as it is. And the GOP establishments war policy pretty much mirrors the democrats hence uniparty
