c) a non sustainable public retirement system that relied on a high worker/retiree ratio to work, d) A welfare program that the poor should be refunded all payroll constitutions but receive all benefits, e) a retirement system that will require current taxes to pay benefits within 10 years?, or f) all the above Is FICA tax an Income tax as many Democrats insist? Or is it funding for a self-funding retirement account? How you answer this question determines how you view a FTP like "privatized" Social Security system...
