Gaar, You mean there are STILL a few high paying manufacturing jobs that have not ALREADY been shipped overseas? i thoght you said it was our high corporate taxes that were "forcing" corporations to go offshore?
Here's an idea: Nationalized and universal health care coverage. Think of the savings to the poor auto companies if they did not have to carry the burden of health care insurance for their employess while active AND retired as many of them are able to retire prior to being eligle for social security. Another idea: Increase, or institute ,tariffs on cars built outside of this country, be they Toyotas or Fords. Give ALL auto companies an incentive to manufacture cars here if they want to sell them here.
