Mark:

Pakistan celebrates its independence day on August 14th;India on 15th.

Mohd. Ali Jinah, the Muslim leader (Party: Muslim league) wished to
PM of India. Before Independence they were in power in two provinces.

Please go through this.

Pakistani writer Irfan Hussain : Title Demons from past --> You will
realize that even Hindus were subjected to Holocaust in their own home
land by the Muslim invaders. Muslims in India, even though had Hindu
blood (at least from their great great grandmother), had some
superiority complex and they didn't believe co-exist with Hindus.

If you will read the Wiki Link of Direct Action Day, The Chief
Minister of Muslim League Bengal, (1946, 1 year before independence )
threatened - "Unless they get an Islamic piece from India , they will
destroy India by Jihad". Since Gandhi was the undisputed leader of
India [1], he, even though upset with the division, finally conceded &
urged Congress (the name of political party) to approve division of
Pakistan.

[1] Gandhi was a Muslim appeaser. [

But, the worst nightmare was yet to come. When Pakistan was carved
out, it was expected that they will protect the Hindu minorities
there. But, they just followed , what their Invader great great grand
fathers did. Slaughter the men, rape the women. They can of course
keep multiple wives.

Geographically, Pakistan was East Pakistan & West Pakistan. East
Pakistanis were 'Bengali' speaking Muslims & the West Pakistan
(Current) were 'Urdu' speaking Muslims. So, the mainland Muslims mis-
treated them (mentioned in Irfan Hussian's article) and in 1971,
Bangladesh was liberated from Pakistan, with India's help.

British were leaving India any way. So you are right .British knew
that there will be partition. But, it is believed that British
encouraged the Muslims to fight for a separate Muslim state. But,
majority of Muslims preferred to stay in India, even though they
condoned the formation of separate islamic country. That is why the
right wing parties of India still upset & suspects their patriotism as
when the country needs them, they support brotherhood.

e.g. India and Israel both are victims of terror. While Pakistan was
carved out from India in 1947, the Indian Muslims didn't say a word
from their mouth. But, when Israel was carved out, they were furious..

They love to live under dictators with full satisfaction, but when
given a chance to live in USA/UK/India, form civil society groups and
always complain of discrimination/snub.
