Good Afternoon Folks! Personally, I read a number of the posts by Dick, Travis and Bruce. Like many here in the Group, I work, (the last few weeks, my schedule has been extremely heavy, something like 80 to 90 hours a week); and it is true that I personally have not contributed my normal share of responses, or getting involved in discussions, or pointing out how many of our "left of center" members are confused or misguided.
I have been a member of this group for going on fifteen months, and I have seen it ebb and flow, depending a lot on current events, and what I assume are other members' work schedules. Personally, I like the posts by members that are of opinion, commentary or news items. There are occasions where I have not seen them in the news, or they are opinion pieces that I hadn't seen or considered, and even when I am a bit more active than I have been the last couple of weeks, I don't always comment on these types of articles, even though I read them and enjoy them. I am currently one of the co-moderators of this group, and I want to see the Group grow and prosper. As stated, it is my opinion that the group, "Ain't Broke....So No Need To Fix It"; but I am interested to hear other members' opinions, as to whether they believe that there needs to be some type of moderation or limit on the number of posts that are of the type being discussed. There are a number of methods in which a member can receive the messages that are posted to PoliticalForum; one has the ability to receive all of the e-mail, or digest e-mail or abridged e-mail; or one can choose to read the messsages strictly from our web site, located here: http://groups.google.com/group/PoliticalForum If a member is monitoring the messages strictly from the web site, obviously (s)he has the ability to pick and choose which messages and threads interest him/her. If one chooses to monitor the Group by e-mail; well......God gave you a "JP426_12866 Key" Respectfully, Keith In Tampa On Fri, Jun 19, 2009 at 6:21 PM, Travis <[email protected]> wrote: > Thanks for taking your "valuable" time to count the number of posts I have > made.
